The painting shows a procession in motion. A group walks toward the waters to retrieve Our Lady of the Rosary, revisiting the narrative of the saint found in the sea.
The path crosses a field of flowers, creating an almost dreamlike atmosphere. Unlike traditional representations in which petals fall from the sky, here the flowers belong to the landscape itself, they grow from the earth and accompany the procession’s path, reinforcing the connection between nature, devotion, and collective memory.
